  10. Once the white chocolate is set, your cookies are ready to be served.

Healthier Version

I know some of you might not prefer All-purpose Flour and Sugar like my husband. So I have also tried and tested a slightly healthier version of the cookies and they were as delicious as the original ones. So if you want to satisfy your sweet cravings and also be healthier, you just need to replace the all-purpose flour with whole wheat flour in the same quantity and replace ¼ cup castor sugar with ¼ cup + 2 tbsp of brown sugar. I used light brown sugar for my recipe.

Tips

  1. These cookies are not too sweet, So if you prefer sweeter cookies then increase the quantity of Castor sugar.
  2. Use Oven’s wire rack to mark perfect rectangles to shape the cookies. This hack helped me a lot to give the cookies a perfect shape.
  3. Use room temperature butter to perfectly mix butter and sugar. If the butter is too cold the sugar will not mix in it and if the butter is liquidy then the dough will be soft.
  4. If at any point you feel like the dough has become too soft and is becoming difficult to handle, freeze the dough in the refrigerator for some time.

These chocolate cookies are sure to be a hit at any gathering or party and are a great recipe to keep in your baking arsenal for whenever you need a quick and delicious chocolate fix. I made them on Christmas last year and they were gone in a jiffy. So try making a batch today and let me know in the comments section how they turned out.

Until next time Keep Baking!!
